A warm welcome to St. Michael’s Church Grimsby
St Michael’s is a community focused church with lots of group activities as well as times for worship.
We strive to promote wellbeing for all people, hosting and supporting many organisations and clubs that use our building. As a community church we support many charities.
As part of the Inclusive Church Network, we intentionally welcome all persons, regardless of sexual orientation, gender, race, ethnicity, age, physical or mental capacity, education and socioeconomic or marital status.
We continually encourage meaningful opportunities for growth and service: and we provide quiet space for those who seek it, we can also offer personal prayer.
SUNDAY SERVICES
10.30am We worship every Sunday at 10.30am and you are very welcome to come along.
The service is a Eucharist / Holy Communion each first and third Sundays of the month, with the others being a Service of the Word – that’s a service of hymns, readings and worship but without the communion. Everyone is welcome at all types of services.
[NOTE: if it is the 5th Sunday of the month we move between churches, so pop us an email and we’ll let you know where we will be!]
We have refreshments after every service and we very much hope you will stay!
WEEKDAY SERVICES
10.00am every Wednesday There is a shorter service of Holy Communion, with special words and a hymn – everyone is welcome to come along. This service is held in our smaller chapel, within the church.
